The Cincinnati Bengals have become one of the more likable teams in the NFL after the team went to the Super Bowl during the 2021 Season. Just elite quarterback Joe Burrow or “Joe Cool” as he has become known has been designated as an idol amongst a large portion of fans. One of the most respected parts of this team has been the camaraderie seen between the players.
Cincinnati Bengals Players Enjoy Special Day Together
As the father of a one-year-old, I can appreciate that the day your child is born is simply the most special moment in your life. Your life can be full of a long list of achievements but there is simply no feeling like it: the combination of limitless excitement and pure and unbridled terror is simply unlike anything else on the planet. It is a moment that many including myself will remember until the day they die.
Luckily for them, two Bengals players recently went through the joyous circumstance of living through that moment together. Star linebacker Logan Wilson and talented placekicker Evan McPherson enjoyed the strange coincidence where both of their wives (Morgan Wilson and Gracie McPherson) delivered their families firstborn in the same hospital and on the same day.

What a bizarre circumstance to go through that sort of life event with someone you spend countless hours a day working with. That has to be a first in the history of the NFL where you end up just a few rooms away from one of your teammates.
While I could talk about both of these guys and the huge contributions that they give to their teams, I think this would be a better moment to congratulate both of the happy families on healthy babies being born. It is important to remember that while we constantly criticize these guys for their actions on the field, they are human beings who live their own private personal lives.
A perfect example would be less than a year ago when Cincinnati took on the Baltimore Ravens. Wilson made a routine tackle on tight end Mark Andrews on the goalline and Andrews would suffer a broken leg, forcing his season short just weeks into the season. Wilson would be ripped to shreds on national media outlets for being a dirty player in the circumstance which was remarkable given the circumstances.
Wilson and McPherson are some of the leaders in the Cincinnati locker room and there is no doubt that their approach to the game with change after a major change in life circumstances.
