Patrick Mahomes went out with a high ankle sprain in the first quarter last week against the Jaguars, but later returned for the second half. Mahomes threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns on 30 attempts, and ultimately led the Chiefs to a 27-20 victory.

Mahomes has previously stated that he wouldn’t let his injury keep him out of the AFC Championship. He was a full participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday according to reports. We’ll have to see just how much this affects his play, but regardless, the Chiefs will have their signal caller for the AFC Championship game.
