Overview: In Saturday’s divisional round playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, MVP & Super Bowl Champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain in the 1st quarter doctors confirmed this morning. Mahomes left the game while the Chiefs were up 10-7. 37 year old backup quarterback Chad Henne entered for Mahomes for the duration of the 2nd quarter and led the Chiefs to a 98 yard touchdown drive. After receiving the opening kick of the second half, Mahomes re entered the game & led the Kansas City Chiefs to their fifth consecutive AFC Championship game in the 27-20 victory.
