The Kansas City Chiefs are going through their first disappointing off-season in a few years. Super Bowl 59 saw the Philadelphia Eagles put a stop to Kansas City’s three-peat bid. There is no doubt that Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs are more motivated than ever to get back on top of the football world. However, Mahomes will be dealing with a bit of a loss this off-season.
Breaking: Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Sees Family Announce Heartbreaking Loss

This week, Randi Martin, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, shared a difficult family update that might have even brought tears to his eyes:
Mahomes was born in Tyler, Texas. He was raised in Whitehouse, Texas, and attended Whitehouse High School.
Now, a considerable part of his childhood is going to go forever. Randi Martin has announced that she is putting the Chiefs quarterback’s childhood home in Tyler, Texas, up for sale.
Located at 3110 Oleander Drive, this was the place where Mahomes grew up.
Listed by Tristan X. Mosher with Coldwell Banker APEX, the asking price for the 1475-square-foot property is $285k, which seems like a downright bargain compared to other famous homes.

Martin is selling the home after her sons, Patrick Mahomes and younger brother Jackson Mahomes, bought her a $825,000 house in Texas.
It is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the Whitehouse school district, where Mahomes played high school football and baseball. That is where he made his name and where he met his eventual wife, Brittany Mahomes.
“It’s bittersweet, but it’s time for a change, and Mia and I are so excited to have a new place to decorate and make a home, and now I have a large space for those grand babies,” Randi shared in a statement to Realtor.com.
“There were a lot of tears and laughter and memories in that house, but it’s time to let a new family start to build their dream there now,” she added.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a shocking loss at the 2025 Super Bowl in February, but just a few months later, he was all smiles once again.
Despite a crushing blowout defeat, Mahomes returned to the headlines after gifting his mother, Randi Mahomes, a luxurious multi-million dollar home.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback teamed up with his wife Brittany and younger brother Jackson to surprise her.
Randi shared her gratitude on Instagram, posting several joyful photos of herself standing in front of the new property. “Home is where the heart is—and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing,” she wrote.
