The Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles talked to the media at Monday’s Owners Meeting about the team’s state this offseason. He alluded to a few key items for the first overall pick.
The Chicago Bears are on the clock. Curiosity is winding down about their future, as all signs point to USC quarterback Caleb Williams.

After Caleb Williams’s impressive Pro Day, where 7 Chicago Bears executives watched the Pro Day, Ryan Poles spoke about what is next for their plan with Caleb this offseason.
Adam Hoge reports that Caleb Williams will make his highly anticipated top-30 visit to Halas Hall in the first week of April.
Ryan Poles also said that, as he talked to Williams’ teammates, he had learned: “They don’t like him, they love him.”

Caleb Williams Top 30 Visit
Leading up to the draft, all 32 NFL teams can bring 30 players on individual visits to their facilities for a private meeting. A team’s top-30 visit list is for exclusive players the team is interested in drafting.

Caleb initially canceled his top-30 visit to Chicago after the NFL combine. He credited travel, training, and timing to his cancellation. The Bears were very early in the scheduling process for a top-30 visit, but many officials around the league think the Justin Fields trade had something to do with it.
Many top-30 visits are happening around the league, so the timing to bring Caleb in makes much more sense.
Caleb Williams continues to Impress
General manager Ryan Poles also spoke to Williams’s perception of the team. He stated about his teammates, “They don’t like him, they love him.”
Much of the media seems to be rooting against Caleb as differing reports of his “attitude” toward football continue to emerge. The Bears do not seem detoured.
After his pro day, when the Bears were well represented, including new receiver Keenan Allen, everyone seemed to think the Bears were deadset on Caleb being the first overall pick.

I am gaining faith in where Poles is bringing the team as well I would think the acquisition of T.Boyd for the slot would open more defensive needs to choose at draft day Thing is I would also be very happy to have Rome on the team as well also ALT as tackle their all sure thing every fan around the 32 teams all wants the same thing Good luck and great hunting and keep your job it’s to open for criticism like with trading away my favorite player Justin Fields since Walter Payton and Dick Butkus but it gave me another team to follow Pittsburg Steelers
