The Chicago Bears have one of the most interesting decisions of the offseason. They are slated to have the number one overall pick thanks to the Carolina Panthers as well as their own pick which will most likely end up in the top ten. The debate has already begun. Should the Bears keep Justin Fields or trade him? Wide receiver DJ Moore has made his feelings clear and he has a bold take on Fields.
DJ Moore doesn’t want to hear about drafting a QB next year.

Chicago Bears DJ Moore On QB Justin Fields
The two quarterbacks that everyone is talking about are Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. Some are throwing around the term generational but at the very least, these are two NFL-ready players at the most important position in football. Moore thinks Fields is better than both of them and said so when asked about what he thought the team should do with the top pick.
“What makes (Fields) not the quarterback for the Chicago Bears right now? I get y’all got everyone coming out, what there’s like two of em? I don’t think they better than Justin. So they cool.”
Moore thinks the team doesn’t need to look at the quarterback position next year and he isn’t the only one that has voiced support for Fields.
Locker Room Support
Fields seems to have the support of the locker room. Cornerback Jaylon Johnson echoed Moore’s comments and thinks the organization should fill out the rest of the roster around Fields. This makes the decision trickier. Even if the right decision is to move on from Fields, it may result in a locker room split. However, the former first-round pick is 8-27 in his career and has a worse winning percentage than JaMarcus Russell. He has turned the ball over a lot and will need to be extended soon. It is an extremely difficult choice that general manager Ryan Poles will have to make.
What should the Chicago Bears do? I see both sides of it but pretty soon they are going to have to choose one way or another and deal with the fallout.
