According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, Charlie Heck will miss time in training camp due to a foot injury:
Veteran offensive tackle Charlie Heck is out for a few weeks after a flareup of plantar fasciitis in his foot, according to league sources.
Heck, 27, underwent testing Tuesday after being sidelined at training camp.
The Texans’ 2020 fourth-round pick has played in 41 games and started in 21 games. He appeared in six games and played four for the Texans last season.

According to Wilson, the Texans are signing Cameron Erving. After being a standout for the Florida State Seminole’s national championship team, the Cleveland Browns selected Erving with the No. 19 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The Browns traded Erving to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. He won Super Bowl LIV as a member of the Chiefs. Erving has spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and Carolina Panthers.
Erving has played in 98 games and started in 58. The 31-year-old offensive tackle played in three games for the Saints last season. He started in two games.

Pro Football Focus gave Erving a 49.0 overall grade for his play last season. He earned a 70.5 grade for his pass blocking. He gave up one sack and four pressures in 120 pass-blocking attempts.
