The Buffalo Bills are getting ready to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs. However, there is one obstacle in their way. That is the amount of snow already on the ground. Now, the Bills need your help to clear it before Sunday’s kickoff.
Buffalo Bills Ask Public for Help Shoveling Snow
The Buffalo Bills social media team wrote a post requesting the help of the general public to help shovel snow before the game. The goal is to shovel all of the snow inside of the stadium before fans show up to the game. To do this, anyone willing to help would have to arrive at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Saturday night at 10 p.m.
There is already a coating of snow covering the stadium. However, tomorrow’s forecast indicates there could be six additional inches of snow. As a result, the Bills are trying to get ahead of this.
Do not worry, the Bills are not asking the public to do this out of the kindness of their hearts. They are willing to pay anyone able to shovel around $20 an hour. Complimentary food and drinks would also be provided. You would just need to have proper identification if you are over 18 and the proper working papers if you are under 18.
Buffalo Bills Moving Forward
There were rumors that this game could be moved to Cleveland if the weather was too severe. However, these rumors seem to be put to bed. The Bills’ post mentioned above should eliminate any doubt that this game is going to be played in Buffalo. Now, they will try to defeat the Steelers as 9.5-point favorites.
