According to Adam Schefter, Buffalo restructured the contract of Rasul Douglas, freeing up $2.5 million in cap space.

Buffalo traded a 2024 third-round pick to Green Bay in exchange for Douglas and a 2024 fifth-round pick during the NFL Trade Deadline.
Douglas appeared in nine games with Buffalo, recording 29 tackles, four interceptions, one pick-six, and eight pass deflections, and allowed 20 receptions on 39 targets for 232 yards, one touchdown, and a 38.6 passer rating. He missed the Wild Card round with a knee injury but played in the Divisional Round, recording two tackles and one forced fumble.
The defensive back position will look different next season

The defensive back position will look different next season as Buffalo released Tre’Davious White, Jordan Poyer, and Siran Neal.
Micah Hyde, Dane Jackson, Taylor Rapp, and Cam Lewis are unrestricted free agents.
This leaves the defensive back room to Rasul Douglas, Taron Johnson, Christian Benford, Kaiir Elam, Damar Hamlin, Ja’Marcus Ingram, Kendall Williamson, and Kyron Brown.
Expect more roster moves in the coming days

With approximately $19.7 million over the cap, Buffalo still needs to make roster moves. Players who could be restructured include Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Von Miller, Dawson Knox, and Taron Johnson, to name a few.
