The Buffalo Bills hire a wide receiver coach
The Buffalo Bills have made another hire for the 2023 staff. The Bills have made a few major changes to the staff for next season. The Bills fired their safeties coach, Jim Salgado, following a successful season with the secondary. They hired Joe Danna from the Houston Texans to be his replacement. They announced Al Holcomb would be their senior defensive assistant.
Now the Bills have turned their eyes to the offense. According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Bills are hiring Adam Henry to be the wide receiver coach. He was at Indiana last season.
The #Bills are hiring veteran WR coach Adam Henry, per source. Henry, who has coached at LSU and with five NFL teams, most recently was Indiana’s co-OC/WR coach.

Henry coached at LSU as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach when Odell Beckham Jr. was a wide receiver there. Beckham is considered a top free agent heading into the 2023 regular season. The Bills could be gaining an edge to land Beckham by hiring Henry. Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network pointed out the connection on Twitter:
That’s interesting. Adam Henry is — besides being a very good coach — close with Odell Beckham Jr. https://t.co/3kOVZJfZ7L

We’ll see if this moves the Beckham sweepstakes in the Bills’ favor.
