The Buffalo Bills made a significant move regarding their coaching staff following the heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. The team has fired their offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, and now quarterbacks coach Joe Brady will take over as the interim offensive play caller. Many think the turnover problem with the Bills is the reason for the team letting him walk.

Ken Dorsey Fired
The team announced the move on Tuesday following the crushing Monday Night Football loss. Buffalo committed four turnovers in the game, including three of them coming from their star quarterback Josh Allen, who leads the league in turnovers with 13. The overall turnover problems with Allen and the team seem to be the main reason for the departure of ex-coordinator Dorsey.
Dorsey was elevated to be the Bills’ offensive coordinator in 2022 after his successor, Brian Daboll, took the head coaching job with the New York Giants. Before becoming the coordinator, Dorsey served as Buffalo’s quarterbacks coach, and it looks like the team is making a similar mover after his departure, as current quarterbacks coach Joe Brady will now take over as the offensive coordinator.
Buffalo Bills’ Struggles
Buffalo’s offense has not scored more than 25 points since week four of this season, and the turnovers have been the main issue. Allen has been the centerpiece of attention regarding the turnover problem as he now has a league-leading 13 turnovers and 11 interceptions. Allen has always had a turnover problem throughout his career, but it was starting to get better under Daboll. However, since Dorsey took over, it seems that his poor decision-making has come back to haunt him.
The Bills are currently 5-5 on the 2023 season and sit in second place in the AFC East. They will face off against the New York Jets this coming week, who they lost to back in week one due to turnover issues. Many thought Buffalo would be one of if not the top teams in the league by this point in the year, however, the turnovers have been crushing them as they are now at .500. We will see if Brady can fix the problems that the offense is having.
