After being predicted to beat the New Orleans Saints in week 16, it will be the Browns Vs Commanders in week 17. Just like the Saints, the Commanders could be a sneaky good team.
Browns’ Defense Could Be Rough
The Commanders have an alright offense. If Carson Wentz can be a reliable quarterback, then this offense can be really good.
They have weapons like Terry McLaurin who signed his contract extension this offseason, and they also have Curtis Samuel at that wide receiver position. Those are two wide receivers that can definitely produce if given the opportunity. But, Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome II can slow them down.
Then the Commanders also have Antonio Gibson, who is a solid running back.
Antonio Gibson totaled 1,042 yards, 11 TDs on 216 touches and played on only 37% of the offensive snaps in 2020. #WFT

Washington’s offensive line is solid too. But, when your opponent has Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney, it may not matter how good your offensive line is.
The Browns can definitely slow Washington’s offense down, but they do have some good talent.
Browns’ Offense Could Have Troubles Due to One Player
The Browns’ should have a solid offensive day. But, the Commanders’ defensive line could get some good pressure on Deshaun Watson, if he plays.
The player the Browns will really have to watch out for is Chase Young. Young can completely take a game over, and when they have other players like Montez Sweat and Jonathan Allen on that defensive line, the Browns’ offensive line can struggle.
And because of that defensive line, Nick Chubb might have some trouble running the ball.
The Browns can take advantage in the passing game, though. The Commanders don’t have great cornerbacks. In fact, Washington let up an average of around 255 passing yards per game, which was the fourth most in the league.
Browns Vs Commanders: Who Wins?
With it being near the end of the season, the Browns may back off a bit. They’re predicted to be in a solid position for the playoffs at this point, so they may not play as hard. Also with Chase Young causing a lot of disruption, the Browns may lose one in Washington.
Final Score Prediction: Commanders 23, Browns 20
Browns’ Record Through 16 Games: 11-5
