The Seattle Seahawks’ number 2 wide receiver, behind highly compensated stud DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, has been dealing with a hamstring issue for the past month. Now, upon being hopeful for a return to action in a road divisional face-off against the Los Angeles Rams, Lockett’s official injury designation has been confirmed.

What Does This Mean For The Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks already have a string of talented wide receivers in the room: the aforementioned DK Metcalf, impressive rookie Jaxon Smith Njigba, and undrafted rookie cult-like standout Jake Bobo.

Despite being questionable this week and having struggled with injury for the best part of 5 weeks, Lockett has still managed to play each week and make meaningful contributions to the 6-3 Seahawks side that are tied for 1st place in the NFC West. This especially impressive considering Tyler Lockett already seemingly has one eye on his career post football.
Having Tyler Lockett, who has managed a respectable 494 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns on the season could be the difference in what is prjoected to be a tight game at the LA Rams, where the Seahawks go in as 1 point favorites.
Let’s see if Tyler Lockett manages to tough it out and get on the field on Sunday afternoon.
