Robert Griffin III Injury
This would certainly shake up the National Football League as RGIII was a dominant force when he played for the Commanders. In his three years as a starter for Washington, he amounted to 8,097 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. The reason RGIII’s career was cut short was a gruesome injury he suffered in a Wild Card matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in 2013, when Griffin dropped the snap and landed awkwardly on his right leg, causing an ACL and LCL tear.
A return to the NFL would mean that he is prepared to risk getting injured once again, which would be detrimental to the former star quarterback. Griffin has established himself as one of the top NFL analysts as of right now but has not ruled out making a comeback to the league if he gets the right opportunity.
Which Team(s) Are Interested
There is no information on which team(s) are interested in bringing him back, but we can certainly speculate. The New York Jets seem like the best option since Aaron Rodgers is likely out for the year and Zach Wilson is currently under center. Other options can include the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Arizona Cardinals.
Again, these teams that are listed are just speculation and seem like would be the best fit for RGIII. We will see as the season further develops if a team’s name does get publicized, but for now, we will just guess which teams are interested in bringing back the former star quarterback.
