Michael Thomas Struggles
If Thomas is unable to play this week, expect to see Chris Olave get the most targets in this matchup. New Orleans will be traveling north to play the Colts, who are ranked 17th overall in fantasy points per game against the pass. If Thomas can go, he is projected to get over four receptions and more than 52 yards on seven targets.
So far this season. the star receiver has amounted to 371 receiving yards and a touchdown. Thomas has struggled this season as he does not yet have a game with over 65 yards receiving. He has been limited in productions the past two seasons due to severe injuries that have caused him to miss most of the season.
Diminishing Career
Over his eight-year career, he has gone for 6,492 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns and has solidified himself as one of the league’s top receivers over that period. However, many fans and analysts think that the value of the receiver is diminishing before our very eyes, and they have good reasoning behind it if you look at his decreasing numbers over the years.
The Saints are 3-4 going into this week and will look to get the win to compete for the top spot in the NFC South, which is currently led by the 4-3 Atlanta Falcons. This illness is an ongoing situation and will most likely make Thomas a game-time decision for tomorrow.
