There is a Kansas City Chiefs corner back whos play has caught the attention of four time Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski. Corner back L’Jarius Sneed has been playing amazing football this year and he may find himself on the first team All Pro List after his stellar season for an amazing Chiefs defense.
Sneed has recently suffered and injury and is questionable going into the Chiefs upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals. But the injury seems not too serious and he should return within the next game or two. Sneed has been playing unbelievable football and has quietly been having one of the seasons at that position this year with some analysts predicting he could be an All Pro.
Kansas City Chiefs’ Corner Gets Rob Gronkowski’s Approval
Rob Gronkowski took to Twitter to give Sneed praise with the season he has been having, now becoming one of the best at the position for a Chiefs defense that is one of the top of the league this year. Gronk said that he wouldn’t want to go up against Sneed even in his prime which is saying a lot from arguably the best tight end to ever lace them up.
While Gronk may be over exaggerating about not wanting to go up against Sneed, the statement is still a big one and it should continue to give Sneed the confidence that he is one of the best in the league at this point.
While Kansas City has been struggling for the past few weeks now, they will definitely need Sneed to be suiting up come playoff time as they will rely on their defense in a big way to have any success in the playoffs this year. That is a very different tune from previous years for Kansas City as they have relied on their amazing offense led by Patrick Mahomes.
Kansas City will rely on their defense heavily specifically Chris Jones and L’Jarius Sneed if they want to go far in the playoffs. We will see soon if Sneed will suit up this week and if he can take home an All Pro award, but for now he must be pretty happy to get such high praise and respect from one of the best to ever do it.
Gronk said he would not want to go 1-on-1 against Kansas City Chiefs L’Jarius Sneed not even in his prime.
