Bobby Wagner is reunited with the Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are trying to rebuild their defense to be more like it was in the last decade when they were dominant. The Seahawks made several major signings on that side of the ball. Head coach Pete Carroll is not completely satisfied with the roster, but it’s getting there. One player that will help them reach that goal is All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, who signed with Seahawks for his second stint with the team this offseason.
Wagner was recently a guest on ESPN Seattle’s Brock and Salk show. Wagner said he’s happy to be back with the team and the city of Seattle:
“It just seemed like the right thing,” Wagner said. “Everybody was excited to have me back in the building, but even like walking around, going to the store, things of that nature. You could just feel that there’s a lot of love and support here, so I’m grateful that that’s what it is. I’m grateful for how the fans have re-embraced me.”
They’ll re-embrace Wagner again this fall if he can help them win the NFC West.
