One NFL insider recently linked Bill Belichick to the Buffalo Bills for their head coaching job in 2024. The Bills have not fired head coach Sean McDermott, but there is a possibility he could get the boot after another Divisional Round loss.
The Buffalo Bills lost another Divisional Round playoff game

The Bills lost at home to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. While McDermott did an impressive job in the regular season to lead an injured to an AFC East title, his lack of postseason success is concerning.
McDermott has a 73-41 regular season record but a 5-6 record in the postseason during his seven years in Buffalo. The Bills made it to one AFC Championship Game when they lost to the Chiefs 38-24.
The Bills made serious changes to their coaching staff last offseason in a bid to make it further in the playoffs this year. But those changes amounted to losing their second Divisional Round game at home.
Former Bills HC thinks Belichick could go to Buffalo

Former Bills head coach Rex Ryan said on ESPN‘s Get Up on Monday that he could see the Bills firing McDermott to hire Belichick:
“I said this to [Mike Greenberg], I said, ‘Watch this be where Belichick ends up. Meaning that I’m not saying it’s going to happen,” Ryan said. I’m saying this: If you think you like ownership, alright? They fired me when I was .500. They fired me because they didn’t think I could go any further.”
“I’m saying if ownership sits back and goes, ‘You know what, this guy has done a great job as a coach, but is he the right guy to get us to the next level?’ I’m just throwing it out there,” Ryan said. “Believe me, I’m not just being reckless when I’m saying this. If you’re going to move on from him, it’s for one guy and that’s for Bill Belichick.”
Are the Bills looking into Belichick?

The Atlanta Falcons are the favorites to land Belichick this week. However, the Bills’ connection could have real legs behind it. Mike Florio with NBC Sports reported over the weekend that a team without a head coaching vacancy was interested in Belichick.
“Per a league source with knowledge of the situation, multiple teams are quietly considering a potential run at Belichick. At least one currently has a head-coaching vacancy. At least one currently does not.”
Could that team without the head coaching vacancy be the Bills?
The Bills are desperate to win a Super Bowl. Belichick has won six of them when he had an elite quarterback. He’d have that in Buffalo with Josh Allen.
McDermott has been an excellent coach in the regular season. But the NFL matters the most in January and February. That’s when Belichick has been at his best historically.

I’m praying the suits in Buffalo do this for the fans. What a combo! Allen/Belichick!!!! Not just a way better chance of finally winning it all but a real chance to win multiple Lombardi trophies!!!
