The Bengals franchise has been revitalized by Joe Burrow. While other decisions have helped as well, no team is going anywhere until the QB position is figured out. Cincinnati has found their QB in Joe Burrow. Now the goal is to keep him. This shouldn’t be too hard as in a recent interview Joe Burrow said he wanted to spend his “whole career” in Cincinnati.

#Bengals Joe Burrow tells Maria Taylor that ‘my plan is to be here my whole career’ relatively unprovoked in an interview with NBC Sports.

Bengals Joe Burrow Wants To Be In Cincinnati

In an interview with Maria Taylor, Burrow did not hold back on his desire to be in Cincinnati. “My plan is to be here my whole career,” Burrow said during the interview. The interesting thing about this comment is that it was relatively unprovoked. The question was kind of about where he wants to be long term but not directly. Clearly, he likes the franchise and likes the direction the team is going. In an age where many players change teams often, this is refreshing to hear.

    Zac Taylor Gets A Mention

Interestingly enough, Burrow also mentioned his desire to have Zac Taylor as his head coach for his whole career. Burrow has a great connection with him and the past two seasons have seen a lot of success from Taylor. Many wondered after his first couple of seasons whether Taylor was fit to be a head coach. If the Bengals hope to keep Burrow, they might also need to keep Taylor around as well.

The Bengals seem to have figured out the QB position for years to come. Ask any Patriots or Packers fan and they will tell you this is a great position to be in. The Bengals are still in the hunt this year and look to be perennial contenders as long as Burrow is there.
