Bama, is again, predicted to win. Since before the inception of the College Football Playoffs (CFP), Alabama has won more playoff games and championships than any other team. This year is no different. Nick Saban’s recruiting wizardry makes the Crimson Tide a pre-season pick for the 2022 National Championship.
While I’ve heard that Saban prefers to be the underdog, he is always willing to show the NCAA why his Tide is the predicted winner of most matches. Both Draft Kings Sportsbook and former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow predicts the Alabama will win the championship this year.
“If I had to guess right now, I would probably lean towards Bama,” Tebow explained. “They’re so talented. And I think Georgia, Ohio State will all be very good,” he added. “If Texas A&M can figure out the quarterback position, I think they’ll be really good. There’s a lot of teams that are going to compete. I think one of the biggest questions for Bama is this: Can they handle the gauntlet of the SEC? It’s going to be a fascinating season.”
Not everyone’s pre-season predictions place Bama at the top, but the overwhelmingly majority do. Overall, Bama is predicted to win. This includes the 2022 National Championship. While many of this season’s games should be easy wins, there is always the un-predictability of the Crimson Tide vs SEC teams. Upsets aren’t that uncommon, and Bama is reeling after last year’s loss to the Aggies. Saban and the Crimson Tide’s vengeance is good reason for Alabama to win it all this season.
