Why Alabama Will Win The National Championship… Again

Alabama is without a doubt the most talented football team year in and year out. From their elite commits that come in every year, to their five star transfers, and their excellent coaching staff, Alabama is always a contender to take home the National Championship. Even though last year didn’t end how the Tide wanted it to, that just added even more desire to come back stronger. Alabama has an extra chip on their shoulder this year to get back to being number one.

Bryce YoungBryce Young Needs to be Elite for Alabama

Bryce Young had a season to remember last year. He posted 4,872 passing yards, 47 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions. With these stats, Young took home the Heisman Trophy and securing his name in college football history. As if playing for Alabama doesn’t give Young a target on his back, being the reigning Heisman winner will create an even bigger target. Young will have to have a very similar season, if not better, to get Alabama back where they want to be. He showed his leadership after losing in the National Championship last year to Georgia and will need to show that same attitude every game when he steps out onto that field.

    Alabama DefenseAlabama’s Dominant Defense

Alabama is known for having some of the quickest, hard hitting defenses in the nation. If you thought, their defense couldn’t get any better, you better think again. The Tide landed the #1, Jeremiah Alexander, and #2, Jihaad Campbell, Edge Rushers in the nation to their defense. These two are going to wreak havoc in their opponents backfield. Adding to their star-studded defense, Alabama picked up a five star transfer from LSU, Eli Ricks. Ricks is a projected first round cornerback who is lightning quick with a tough, physical edge to his game. Therefore, these new additions to Alabama’s defense are going to help keep other teams offenses in check.

What to Expect from Alabama This Year

Alabama is coming in with one of the best commit classes in the nation. Therefore, they should be aiming for a College Football Championship. Anything else will be considered a season to forget. This team has all the potential in the world and it is up to them to show their dominance when it’s game time. I believe Alabama has what it takes to get the job done and bring another National Championship back to Tuscaloosa.
