The Baltimore Ravens signed a two-time Pro Bowl running back to the 53-man roster Tuesday. The Ravens revealed that Keaton Mitchell would be heading to injured reserve after ankle surgery.
The Ravens lost J.K. Dobbins in Week 1 due to an Achilles injury. The 11-3 Ravens will need to fortify their backfield ahead of the playoffs. They locked up one depth piece on Tuesday.

According to a statement by the Baltimore Ravens, the team signed Melvin Gordon III to the 53-man roster.

Gordon has been on the practice squad since August, and any NFL team has been free to offer the former first-round pick a contract on a. 53-man roster. Gordon has 53 yards on 13 carries for the Ravens this season.
Gordon won a Super Bowl as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
