The Baltimore Ravens held their last practice of the week on Friday and will now await the Kansas City Chiefs arrival for Sunday’s game at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens have been without stars on both sides of ball for the past few weeks, but that has officially changed with this playmaker being added back into the lineup.
Star TE Mark Andrews Activated from Injury Reserve, Set to Play in AFC Championship Game
Mark Andrews, who has been on the sidelines since fracturing his fibula and suffering ligament damage in his ankle is officially activated from injury reserve and is set to play in the AFC Championship game versus the Chiefs on Sunday. Andrews had a chance to play in last week’s win versus the Houston Texans after logging full practice participation, but was not yet ready to suit up.
Andrews logged three full practices this week which made Baltimore’s decision easier to make a ruling on his status. This will be his first game back since Week 11 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

When asked about Andrews and his improvements since the injury back on November 16th, quarterback Lamar Jackson appreciated how fast the recovery process has been and how sharp he has looked in practice.
“He’s been looking good. He’s been looking sharp… He has been speeding up the process, you know. He’s been looking great.”
Jackson will now get his number one target back for the first ever AFC Championship game in their careers. These two have connected 45 times for 544 yards and 6 touchdowns in 10 games this season before Andrews went down with the injury.
