The unbeaten Nittany Lions (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) are coming off a bye week as they prepare for their toughest three game stretch of the season. They face fifth-ranked ranked Michigan (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) this Saturday at noon in Ann Arbor. Then the Lions host Minnesota (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) on Oct. 22 and No. 2 Ohio State (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) on Oct. 29. We know James Franklin has the talent but can he prove his doubters wrong? The Eagles improve to 3-0 after back to back defensive shut downs against opponents. Last weekend against the Vikings they had three interceptions (Darius Slay with two) and two sacks winning that game 24-7 at the end of the first half, since neither team scored in the second half. This week against the Commanders they didn’t have an interception, but the team combined for nine total sacks! A.J. Brown led the team in targets with 13, catching 10 passes for 155 yards throughout the game. Followed by Dallas Goedert’s 4 targets, catching 3 passes for 60 yards and Kenneth Gainwell’s 4 targets for 2 receptions and 12 yards. The Eagles ran the ball 39 times and passed the ball 32 times against the Lions and ultimately are a run-first offense.…

The Eagles defeated the Lions in their first regular season matchup of the 2022 NFL season 38-35, in a high scoring action packed game. Offensively the Eagles didn’t have much of a problem throwing or running the football. Jalen Hurts completed 18 of 32 passes for 243 yards along with 90 yards rushing and a touchdown. A.J. Brown was targeted 13 times for 10 receptions and 155 yards receiving which is the most ever by a non-rookie making his debut for the Eagles. Miles Sanders was the leading rusher for the Eagles with 13 carries for 96 yards and a…
