A few days after Derek Carr rejected a trade to the New Orleans Saints, the Las Vegas Raiders have decided to part ways with the 31-year old quarterback. According to Ian Rapoport, the Raiders release of Carr is now official and he’ll appear on the transaction wire today. The New Orleans Saints selected two players in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft by trading up to land Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave and used their second pick of the first round to select Northern Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Penning. A.J. Green announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday afternoon capping off a 12-year stint in the league.
