The New Orleans Saints suffered a truly horrific and rare event.  Every now and then, a player will suffer a gruesome injury during a game.  That is the reality of playing a physical sport regardless of whether that is football, basketball, soccer or whatever.  What no one ever expects is for a spectator to endure grueling pain during a sporting event.  The recent Week 13 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Detroit Lions was a sad exemption to the safety of spectators. The Cincinnati Bengals have had a tough few weeks in the middle of the season as a three-game losing streak has essentially ruined their season.  Losses to the red-hot Houston Texans led by likely Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud, chief division rivals in the Baltimore Ravens and then another division rival in the Pittsburgh Steelers.  No one around Cincinnati is enjoying football right now and that can be doubly said for their superstars. The Cleveland Browns seem to be trying their best to squander away a playoff spot after another loss to the Los Angeles Rams.  While the Browns have assembled the best roster they have had since the original Browns left for Baltimore in 1996, this team can’t seem to figure out how to put a winning formula together.  As of now, the Browns have officially started four different quarterbacks this season and as of today, the fourth quarterback is forcibly removed from the active roster. The New York Jets offense this season has been about as bad as could possibly be after starting their third quarterback of the season and only scoring six points offensively against the Atlanta Falcons.  Freshly started quarterback Tim Boyle looked just as helpless as frustrated youngster Zac Wilson did previously and the Jets simply cannot score this season.  While a lot of people blamed Zac Wilson, it should now be fairly obvious who the real culprit is. New York Jets Offensive Coordinator SHOULD be on his last leg When the Jets brought in Aaron Rodgers, they arguably gave him…

The Pittsburgh Steelers offense has struggled to catch a break this season.  The drama with Diontae Johnson seemed to go on forever and the group has simply struggled to get into a good rhythm.  If the Steelers could get a few weeks to focus on their overall execution and not just trying to get the whole squad onto the same page, they might be able to generate some chemistry with this young group and make a playoff run.  Unfortunately for the Steelers, that will not be happening over the next couple weeks. The Cleveland Browns looked like they made a huge upgrade at quarterback during the Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.  For the first time in a while this season, the Browns were actually showing signs of life offensively and it was because of the addition of the former Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Joe Flacco.  While this has been the first real opportunity Flacco has had since losing the starting job to Ravens MVP Quarterback Lamar Jackson in 2019, not all of his former teammates were thrilled that he joined another team within the division. The Pittsburgh Steelers offense has struggled mightily with consistency throughout the 2023 season.  The worst possible thing to happen when an offense is struggling is an issue at the quarterback position and with the limited talent the Steelers have on that side of the ball, that is especially true for them. Steelers Quarterback status up in the air Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett suffered an ankle injury while he was attempting to scramble against the Ariziona Cardinals.  In the second quarter, Pickett had his ankle trapped while he was being tackled and was reported questionable by Steelers spokesperson Burt Lauten.  Pickett…
