Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson was carted off the field in the first quarter of Monday night’s 20-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints after suffering a right ankle injury. Miami’s head coach Mike McDaniel announced to reporters during his press conference on Monday. McDaniel also said that Waddle is “already started progressing” through said protocol.
