North Carolina landed another commitment out of College Station Monday morning, adding former Texas A&M Aggies tight end Jake Johnson. Johnson joins his brother Max Johnson in Chapel Hill. Max, who played QB for Texas A&M following an injury to starter Conner Weigman, committed to North Carolina at the end of November. Ole Miss landed a pledge from former Tennessee pass rusher Tyler Baron Saturday, just hours after landing former Tennessee nickelback Tamarion McDonald. Baron, who has been at Tennessee since the 2020 season, originally entered the transfer portal last season but withdrew his name soon after. He was rumored to have received interest from Kentucky.
