The Houston Oilers became the Tennessee Titans whom McNair led to an AFC Championship and nearly a Super Bowl victory. Some fans and even officials, however, believe introducing new tech is important for the future of their respective sport. Important issues such as player safety also calls for more enhanced tech. Odell Beckham, Jr. is a free agent for the second time in his nine year career. The Tennessee Titans are thin at wide receiver. Bobby Trees (Robert Woods) was a free agent wide receiver from the Rams who is coming off a torn ACL. Woods was traded to the Titans in the off season.  OBJ is currently a free agent from the Rams recovering from a torn ACL he sustained  during Super Bowl LVI. The predicted non-QB MVP from the Tennessee Titans is Derrick Henry. Henry is quite possibly the favorite  regardless of position status. The King has the chance to break multiple records with the addition of a 17th game. He eclipsed 2000 yards in a single season without the extra game. Henry is not made of stone, however. Last season in 2021 he missed over half the season. (Fun Fact: Henry set another NFL record by missing nine games and still finishing in the top ten for rushing yards, carries, and touchdowns.) Should Henry fall again who would pick up the torch?…

Treylon Burks, a rookie wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, has asthma. There has been a lot of talk about Burks’ performance in the last month because he was not a full participant in rookie minicamp, OTA’s, or mandatory minicamp. Some days he would sit out completely. Naturally, some concern has descended upon Nashville as Burks is suppose to replace All-Pro receiver A.J. Brown. Titans fans should curb their worry. Asthma is a chronic illness, but proper maintenance and monitoring allows asthma sufferers to lead normal lives including superb athletes. Many Athletes Have Asthma In the 1990’s, Emmitt Smith played…

The Tennessee Titans selected nine players in the 2022 NFL Draft.  My first article for Gridiron Heroics shifted the spotlight to three key players I believe will have an immediate impact to the current roster. Not all draft picks get the highlight they deserve. Every man counts, though. The ‘next man up’ mentality was put to the test in 2021 for the Titans.  The team started and rotated a NFL record 91 players this year. That campaign ended with head coach Mike Vrabel earning Coach of the Year. The other guys make ALL the difference. Here are the 6 ‘other…
