Born and raised in Southern California, grew up in Thousand Oaks California. Both my parents went to school at the University of Southern California so I grew up a big Trojans fan. I recently graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina, so obviously love the Tigers. I am a very passionate and hardcore fan of college football and am looking forward to sharing my thoughts and insight on the college football world for Gridiron Heroics.

The Trojans are coming off of a strong victory against Washington State, as they defeated the Cougars by a score of 30-14. While the offense appeared a little inconsistent at times, the defense is what carried the day for USC. They held Washington State to just 316 total yards of offense and shut out the Cougars in the second half. There were a lot of takeaways for USC from this game as they feel like a team that still has a lot to prove on both sides of the ball. Their next opponent, the Utes, will perhaps be their toughest…

The final score of Saturday’s game between Clemson and Boston College does not tell the whole story of the football game. The Tigers would ultimately win by a score of 31-3, but it was anything but smooth for Clemson. Just when you think this Clemson team is ready to take the next step forward, they take a massive step backwards early on in this game. Clemson Limiting Themselves Despite a promising opening drive that resulted in a field goal, the Clemson offense struggled mightily to move the ball against Boston College. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei never looked comfortable at all and…

The Tigers are coming off their biggest test of the season last week against NC State as they defeated the Wolfpack 30-20. It was Clemson’s most complete performance as a team, looking polished on both sides of the ball. It was a great opportunity for the Tigers to show that they can contend with a top ten team on a big stage. They certainly displayed that they have a legitimate defense, and that their offense has the ability to perform at its best when it matters most. After a win like that, most teams typically get too high on themselves…

The fifth ranked Clemson Tigers played host to the tenth ranked NC State Wolfpack on Saturday night and came out with a 30-20 victory. Death Valley was rocking from kickoff to the final whistle proving once again why Clemson has the longest current home winning streak in college football, now at 37 wins in a row. It was a tightly contested game all throughout as NC State gave Clemson all they could handle. Ultimately the Tigers were able to do what they have always done under head coach Dabo Swinney which is make the adjustments at the half and find…

If you do not live in the western region of the United States, then it is safe to say that you have not paid much attention to the Pac-12 or maybe even USC for the better part of seven years now. They’ve had two appearances in the College Football Playoff since its inception in 2014. With no appearances resulting in a championship. The most recent occurrence came in 2016 when Washington played Alabama and got taken care of handily 24-7. For most, this is what is remembered when they think of Pac-12 as a whole. A conference that has some…

Clemson and Wake Forest delivered the best game of the weekend on Saturday as the Tigers came out on top 51-45. It took two overtimes to decide a winner as the two teams went into a shootout in the late stages of the game. It did not look like the game was going to play out this way when the Tigers scored touchdowns on their first two possessions and shutting down Wake Forest on theirs. However, momentum shifted quickly in the second half as the Wake Forest offense found their footing and would one point score touchdowns on three consecutive…

USC is coming off a dominating performance against Fresno State. The outcome was never in question as the Trojans rolled the Bulldogs 45-17. Quarterback Caleb Williams looked elite once again distributing the ball to all the playmakers on offense. It was the type of game Trojan fans had not seen in a long time in the coliseum. There is certainly a lot to be excited about as this USC team appears to be legit through the first three weeks of the season. The Trojans are now getting ready to head to Corvallis to face an undefeated Oregon State team in…

Despite putting up 48 points, the Clemson Tigers got off to another slow start in week three. The Tigers were favored by 33.5 points going into their game against Louisiana Tech. With the score only being 13-6 in favor of the Tigers at the half, it appeared that the offense was once again going to underperform. It was especially discouraging considering the fact that quarterback DJ Uiagalelei was coming off of a solid game in the week prior against Furman. Clemson was able to secure the victory 48-20, but there is still much that has yet to be seen from…

The Trojans are coming off of a dominant performance over their week two opponent, Stanford, in a 41-28 victory. The final score may predict a closer game throughout the contest, but the outcome was really never in question. USC set the tone early on both offense and defense, scoring a quick touchdown, and forcing an early interception by defensive back Mekhi Blackmon. Going into their game against the Cardinal, there was no question about the USC offense. It was the defense that everyone had their eyes on to see if they would be able to handle the tricky offensive play…

Clemson Tigers played host to the Furman Paladins in their second game of the season Saturday afternoon. The end result was a 35-12 victory for the Tigers in which they controlled the tone of the game from the start, as they were expected to. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei lead the Tigers down the field quickly and efficiently on their opening drive on a seven play, 75 yard drive that had running back Will Shipley do the scoring for them. The Clemson offense was picking up right where it left off from their last contest against Georgia Tech, with Uiagalelei leading the…
