“He Is a Weirdo”: Aaron Rodgers Comparisons With Tom Brady Gets Wild Take From Analyst

Aaron Rodgers is in his early 40s and is being compared to other footballers who also played in the same age group, mainly Tom Brady. On Thursday, NFL analyst Dave Dameshek compared these two legends on the ‘Ross Tucker’ podcast, where he claimed that Rodgers is nothing like Brady.

Tom Brady played his last season in the NFL when he was 42 years old, and when he was about Rodgers’ age, he managed to win a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, there are striking differences between the personalities and performances of the two veteran players, which Dameshek threw light on in his discussion.

“He’s a weirdo but not the same kind of weirdo that Tom Brady is. Tom Brady is the guy that despite the fact that he can chug a beer faster than anyone else on the planet, is predisposed to avocado shakes and such. Everything in preparation for a pro football game when he was in his early 40s. That ain’t Aaron Rogers as far as I can tell. He’s not that level of committed to ball. That is a bad thing because there’s Brady, Warren Moon, I think when he was 41 had a good season for the Seahawks, Brett Favre had that one great year for the Vikings and then that’s it. That’s the amount of 40-year-olds thriving in the QB league.” Dave Dameshek said about Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady on the ‘Ross Tucker’ podcast.

At 41 years old, Aaron Rodgers is definitely one of the most senior players in the league today. However, he does not seem ready to retire as of yet. Currently, Rodgers is looking for a new home team. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been pursuing Rodgers for a while now, but it is unclear which squad he will be playing for in the upcoming NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers Seeks Brett Favre’s Advice On Which Team To Pick

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers is getting some help to bring clarity to his decision-making skills. The 41-year-old quarterback has apparently been speaking to Brett Favre, former Green Bay Packers quarterback.

It is still unknown as to which team Favre will prod Rodgers to consider for the upcoming NFL season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are very interested in bringing in Aaron Rodgers for the 2025 NFL season, and Rodgers was also seen practicing with their new wide receiver, DK Metcalf. At the same time, rumors are that Rodgers is hoping to crack a deal with the Minnesota Vikings.
