Aaron Rodgers has been holding the entire NFL world under a spell for some time now, as the 41-year-old quarterback is yet to make a decision on his next team in the league. While most NFL analysts predict that Rodgers would be a perfect addition for the Pittsburgh Steelers, there are some like Ben Roethlisberger who feel that Rodgers would actually go on to choose the Minnesota Vikings in the end.
The Pittsburgh Steelers finished second in the AFC with only ten wins and seven defeats in the 2024 NFL season, while Minnesota Vikings finished second in the NFC North after winning 14 games and losing three matchups. The Vikings are definitely in a much better position to win a Super Bowl when compared to the Steelers, which might be an encouraging factor for Rodgers when he finally makes his decision, according to one of his closest friends, AJ Hawk.
“I mean, when you hear Ben say that, yeah, it would make sense. If you look at both teams, you would think the Vikings are, you know, closer to getting into the Super Bowl than the Steelers are… if you’re a quarterback, wouldn’t you want to throw to Justin Jefferson? Have that Minnesota defense and everything they have around them? I’m not saying Steelers don’t have weapons, but Aaron got to watch up close and personal for a while how good the Vikings can be.” AJ Hawk said about Ben Roethlisberger’s comments on Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers played for the New York Jets in the previous NFL season but was let go by the team last month after his subpar performance. Rodgers faced numerous challenges with the team, including injuries, which affected his plays. In his last season with the Jets, the quarterback managed a total of 3,897 yards, scoring 28 touchdowns along with 11 interceptions.

Aaron Rodgers’ Decision Between Steelers & Vikings Affected By Brett Favre
While Aaron Rodgers is taking his own sweet time to make his final decision as to whether he will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Minnesota Vikings, it looks like the veteran quarterback is asking his seniors for advice on the matter. As per reports from The Daily Mail, Rodgers has been discussing the same with Brett Favre, former Green Bay Packers quarterback.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hell-bent on bringing Aaron Rodgers to their side, especially since they are desperate for a great quarterback. But, Rodgers seems to feel that he might perform better with the Minnesota Vikings, provided they’ll have him.
