Michigan’s offseason has been marred by unfortunate events, with staff members finding themselves on the wrong side of the law. Just a few weeks ago, we witnessed the arrest of football coach Greg Scruggs for operating a vehicle while impaired. Unfortunately, the saga continues as another Michigan staffer has faced a similar fate.
Michigan New Head Coach Sherrone Moore Isn’t Having An Easy Time
Michigan is going into a new season with a new coach in Sherrone Moore, and he is actually having the worst offseason with his coaches. It has to be hard enough to take over a new program. They just won a title and have a vast cheating scandal on their hands, and now he has coaches who can’t follow the law.
Denard Robinson Has Been Suspended Indefinitely
Former quarterback Denard Robinson, who was famous for wearing number 16 and was one of the most athletic quarterbacks in Michigan history, is currently a staffer in the program and was arrested while intoxicated in Ann Arbor Monday morning.
From Ann Arbor police spokesman on Michigan staffer and former QB Denard Robinson:
Robinson, 33, was arrested for OWI after being involved in a single vehicle crash at E. Eisenhower Parkway and S. State on 4/15/24 at approximately 3:05am. Charges are pending toxicology results.

Ann Arbor Has Seen Better Days
It has been rough in Ann Arbor lately, and Moore has much to deal with. Former head coach Jim Harbaugh left the program in horrible shape in a cheating scandal and recruiting violations during the Covid dead period in 2020. Moore still has to answer for that, and now he has to answer for his staff members breaking the law.
