It has been an interesting last six months for the Michigan football program, from a huge sign-stealing scandal that was unearthed last October to head coach Jim Harbaugh being suspended for the final three Big Ten regular-season games and then winning the National Championship and seeing their head coach Jim Harbaugh take an NFL head coaching job.
Michigan Made Changes This Offseason
Usually, when a big-time head coach leaves a program, many players from the school enter the Transfer Portal. Still, Michigan’s situation was different because they hired assistant coach Sherrone Moore as the new head coach. Many players responded very well to him when he acted as the interim head coach for the last three regular-season games, with Harbaugh suspended.
One Of The Wolverines’ Best Players Shutdown Rumors
Of course, there will always be speculation about players still hitting the portal, and one big one has been around defensive lineman Mason Graham. The soon-to-be junior was not able to enter the NFL draft this year because he had only been in school for two years. However, he will not be leaving the Wolverines anytime soon.
Earlier this week at spring practices, Graham turned down rumors about leaving and stated, “There’s always going to be rumors. Michigan is where I want to be.”

Graham will be one of the best defensive linemen in college football this upcoming season, and returning to the Wolverines will be big time for the team. Let’s see if they can repeat at champs again this upcoming year.
