Zach Frazier
Starting all 13 games in 2021, Zach has been able to become a force for the WVU offensive line. In 2020 Zach started as left guard for 10 games, during the 2021 offseason Zach moved over to center. Frazier was placed All-Big 12 Conference Second Team by PFF College. Throughout the 2021 season, Zach was able to earn Offensive Lineman of the Game 4 times. Becoming the first true freshman to start on the offensive line since 1980, Zach has proven to be one of the hardest workers on the offense. As the youngest on the list, Zach has some tough company alongside him in the Big 12 group. Trevor Downing; a redshirt senior at Iowa State, was also able to land a spot on the list. Being named to First Team All-Big 12, Downing was considered Iowa States leader on the offensive line.
Expectations are high for Zach after being named to the watchlist. The Mountaineers and Frazier will get their first opportunity to show case their talent against Pitt September 1st. Neal Brown will be leading his WVU team in the first Backyard Brawl in over a decade. Mountaineer fans will be watching intently as Frazier will be snapping the ball to transfer quarterback JT Daniels.
