This is my first article so I wanted to write something that means a lot to me. Alabama football means the world to me. So many memories when it comes to this program. From all the victories and all the losses this program had stuck with me. Here are some of the reasons why.
From the early days:
I became a fan of the Crimson Tide in 2005; I did so because a good buddy of mine was an Alabama fan and turned me onto the program. Once I did a little research, and after seeing their winning history, I was hooked. It helped that their mascot is an Elephant, which my favorite animal.
Championship pedigree:
All of the championship games that have occurred in my lifetime. From the first one against Texas to the recent one in 2020 against Ohio State. Those are some of my best memories when it comes to Alabama Football. I also remember all the regular season games all the times they’ve beaten rivals like Tennessee, Auburn, and LSU. Those were also some of the most stressful, yet exciting, moments of my life.
I love that this team’s 18 championships is un touchable. Seeing my many of those championship games were something I’ll remember forever. However, there is one that stuck out to me the most. The 2012 championship against Notre Dame. I was recovering from back surgery at the time and seeing The Crimson Tide Dominate Notre Dame did put a smile on my face and helped me ignore the pain.
In Conclusion:
There is nothing like going to an Alabama game live. To hear the roar of 101,000 people rise to their feet as Saban and the Tide take the field. I love being completely surrounded by a sea of Crimson and White. Whether that is true wherever I go having it in Tuscaloosa, Alabama just means more.
From going to the Paul bear Bryant Museum, to seeing Denny Chimes, walking around campus with thousands of tailgaters and screaming fans. There is nothing like seeing it all unfold live. I’ve seen the Tide play: Florida Atlantic, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Tennessee live. Every time I go it just gets better.
