Will Rogers has reportedly made a decision on where he will play in 2024. The former Mississippi State Bulldog committed to the Washington Huskies at the conclusion of the 2023 regular season. However, after head coach Kalen DeBoer left for Alabama, Rogers re-entered the portal.
The QB spoke with multiple schools, but has ultimately decided to stick with the Huskies.

Will Rogers is an experienced starting QB
Rogers has played in 43 college games and has amassed 12,315 passing yards with 94 touchdowns and 28 interceptions. The QB has a 22-15 record as a starter and was thrived in the late Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense.
Rogers’ best stastical season came in 2021 when he threw for 4,739 yards with 36 TDs and just 9 INTs. In 2023, Rogers was limited to just 5 starts and went 3-2 in those games.
Jedd Fisch needed to keep Rogers in the fold
Jedd Fisch was hired to replace Kalen DeBoer. The former Arizona coach desperately needs to keep Rogers in the fold, as the QB room in Seattle is looking thin. Star Michael Penix Jr. is headed to the NFL, and backup QB Austin Mack followed DeBoer to Tuscaloosa.
Fisch now keeps Rogers in the fold and also brought Demond Williams Jr. from Arizona.
The Huskies will hope that Rogers can break out with a chance of scenery, similarly to what happened with Penix. Penix transferred to Washington from Indiana and took the college football world by storm. Will the former SEC QB find similar success in Seattle?
