Washington Commanders Expected to Hire Adam Peters
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Washington Commanders are expected to hire Adam Peters as their next general manager. Peters has been the assistant GM for the San Francisco 49ers over the last three seasons. Now, it looks like he will get the chance to be the man in charge.

So, what qualifications does Peters have to be the Commanders’ next general manager? For starters, he has been the 49ers assistant GM for the last three seasons. He was on the 49ers’ staff for five prior seasons as well. San Francisco has been regarded as one of the most complete rosters in the NFL during this stretch.
Peters worked in the scouting department from 2003-2016. He started out with the New England Patriots, where he was on the staff for two of their Super Bowl titles. After the 2008 season, Peters took his talents to Denver. He was on the Broncos’ staff for their Super Bowl L title as well. Now, Peters hopes to add another Super Bowl to his resume as the man in charge.
