The Tennessee Titans star is showing that he can do it all! Just moments into the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks, the Titans got onto the scoring board in spectacular fashion. Grabbing a lead, and pulling out all of the tricks to secure a win, the running back showed great grace on his passing attempt.
Tennessee Titans RB Passes For Score
Derrick Henry took a hand off from Ryan Tannehill and while it is quite possible that he would have scored anyway, the Tennessee Titans running back threw the ball into the end zone to Chig Okonkwo for the touchdown.
Derrick Henry’s 5 career pass TD’s rank 3rd behind LaDainian Tomlinson (7) & Walter Payton (8) for a non-QB in the Super Bowl era. #Titans #NFL

It really is not fair for opposing defenses that are looking to gear up to stop the run against the Titans front as is. With this ability to command such respect, a wide open Chig Okonkwo will probably never score an easier six points in his life.
It makes you wonder, if the Tennessee Titans were ever forced to run just a wild cat offense, would they be able to find some level of success?
Tennessee Titans Third Quarterback
Through a combination of injury, and rookie Will Levis showing to have great potential, some took this moment to point out that Derrick Henry currently has the same amount of TD passes as Ryan Tannehill. Although this is soon going to change, it just shows the point that the former Pro Bowler is at in this point of his career. Being in a contract year, he is looking to finish the year strong in order to earn an opportunity on a another team next year.
Derrick Henry has three passing attempts so far this year, and two total passing touchdowns. With a 66.6% touchdowns thrown on attempts, his ratio ranks among the league best to this point of the season.
Currently last in the AFC South, the Tennessee Titans are playing for pride, and looking to play spoiler. Sitting currently at 5 and 9, even a win against the Seahawks leads to a practical recognition that the playoffs are not meant to be this year for them.
While not technically eliminated, a lot more Derick Henry passes, and a bunch of dominos would have to fall their way to be able to sneak in. That being said, a spectacular play deserves recognition, regardless of the overall team picture in the standings.
The latest pass attempt by Derrick Henry means as a passer he is now 8 of 10 all time, with 5 total touchdowns. Making him one of the most effective players to play the quarterback position in history.
