Matthew Judon Injury
The Patriots star was injured while trying to stop a run play from developing in the week four matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. You can see how the offensive lineman twisted Judon to the ground as Judon reached his right arm out to try and stop Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn. As his arm makes contact with Vaughn, it is very clear that the arm gets pushed back in an awkward way which causes the pass rusher to be taken out of the game.

New England Patriots Reactions
Fellow Patriots defensive lineman Deatrich Wise shared his thoughts on Judon’s injury saying, “Devastating. But he was in good spirits, and we’ll be with him mentally throughout the year. I know he will be with us too, there will be some guys behind him that will be stepping up and filling his spot.”
Wise is optimistic that his fellow teammate will be able to recover in time to play once again this season. Being there for Judon mentally will certainly play a vital role in determining the extent of his recovery time.
Judon’s 2023
Matthew Judon has picked up right where he left off from previous years, starting 2023 with ten solo tackles and four sacks in the first four games for New England. However, in this game, his production was limited due to his injury, causing the Patriots to be blown out of the water by Dallas 38-3.
This injury status is official and is the final verdict. The recovery of Judon will be closely watched by everyone, seeing if he will indeed make a comeback this season. We will make sure to keep you in the loop as his situation unfolds even more.
