The legal tampering period started in the NFL on Monday, and teams can agree on contracts with players but can only sign them once the new league year begins on Wednesday. The Miami Dolphins have had a rough day on the first day of NFL free agency.
Miami Dolphins Are Losing Everyone, And Tyreek Hill Gave His Thoughts
The Dolphins lost Christian Wilkins, Robert Hunt, Xavien Howard, Andrew Van Ginkel, Brandon Jones, Jerome Baker, Emmanuel Ogbah, and Keion Crossen, and one current Dolphins player took to X to talk about how he is feeling seeing all his former teammates moving on somewhere else.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill tweeted, “I know Grier is in his bag secretly right now, so I’m not tripping.”

Hill is talking about Dolphins general manager Chris Grier, who has sat on his hands so far this offseason and has yet to do much, but Hill is not losing faith in his general manager or team.
Could Grier Be Sitting On A Huge Move?
Hill thinks Grier will have something up his sleeve that nobody saw coming and will make losing all these players not look so bad.
Let’s go back two years when the Dolphins came out of nowhere and traded for Hill, who was on the Kansas City Chiefs’ roster. No one saw that coming, and the same could be happening for the team this offseason.
According to Spotrac, the Dolphins only have around 5 million dollars in cap space at the moment, so that is probably one of the big reasons why the team had to let many players walk and couldn’t do much on the first day of free agency.
The Dolphins also have to decide on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is heading into the last year of his contract. The team has yet to decide whether to lock up their quarterback long-term.
Miami has many decisions to make this offseason, and let’s see how they do in March and April and how that will translate into September.
