Since missing his first start in his professional career last week against the Carolina Panthers, having suffered an AC sprain against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Trevor Lawrence’s injury status has been the will they/won’t they question of the final week of the regular season.
What Is At Stake In Week 18?
The Jacksonville Jaguars will take on division foes, the Tennessee Titans, who will undoubtedly vividly remember this same game at the same time last season, where the Joshua Dobbs led Titans were unable to topple the 7-9 Jaguars, eventually leading to Jacksonville’s first division title since 2017.
Now, after a disappointing, albeit transitioning season for the Tennessee Titans, where even head coach Mike Vrabel may be on the exit route, as some were even touting him for the job at his alma mater, the Titans’ season will officially end this Sunday.
However, the opportunity to play spoiler will surely be an appealing one to the 5-11 Titans, who are 3.5 point home underdogs heading into this matchup on Sunday afternoon.
Will Trevor Lawrence Play?
Injury news has come out about Lawrence, per Underdog NFL.

So it seems like we will have to wait for Trevor Lawrence’s official playing status until the weekend, however, this does give us an indication that Lawrence at least has a reasonable chance to start and give the Jacksonville Jaguars a good opportuntiy to win the AFC South and clinch the 4th seed. A loss, however, could see them out of the playoffs, so plenty on the line for this game – should be a great one!
