Ohio State will be ranked as one of the two best teams in the country when the preseason AP Top 25 poll comes out next month, but even though they are supposed to be one of the best teams in college football, one media outlet does not very highly rate them.
NCAA 25 Is Not A Fan Of Ohio State
NCAA 25, the video game, is coming out this month, and a new trailer was released on Tuesday that shows how you can play in the new 12-team college football playoff. The playoff graphic in the game shows Ohio State getting in as an 11 seed and then going all the way to the title game, where they lose to Oregon.
The funny thing is the first-ever four-team college football playoff was Ohio State vs. Oregon, and we watched the Buckeyes top the Ducks 42-20 in the new video game trailer; they have it the other way around in the first 12-team playoff, having Oregon beat Ohio State 42-20.
Oregon will face Ohio State in the regular season since they have moved to the Big Ten; we will see this game played out in real life. The game will probably be a coin flip because both teams will be great, and it could be a Top Five matchup.
This is not the first time the video game trailer has made fun of Ohio State, and other trailers that came out earlier this year had Ohio State losing in games and getting run over by opponents.
Buckeyes fans weren’t thrilled with NCAA 25 having their team lose the title, so here are some of their reactions.
Ohio State loses in the National Title to Oregon by the exact same 42-20 score we BEAT them in the championship by in 2015?
This is NOT a coincidence.
And the immediate cut to Michigan after proves it’s EA Sports Senior Producer & “devout Michigan fan” Rob Jones trolling AGAIN pic.twitter.com/KpXy2YiMkK

They’ve got us losing by 3 TD in the title game (and chose that score on purpose) right before showing Michigan @BFW @clubtrillion @BarstoolBigCat

Clearly, someone didn’t get into OSU
