Oregon is supposed to be one of the best teams in college football this season, and there is an excellent chance that it will win the title in January. The Duck’s head coach, Dan Lanning, is one of the best coaches in the country, and they brought in transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel from Oklahoma, who was one of the highest-rated transfer quarterbacks in the portal this offseason. Oregon has all the tools to win the National Championship, and the script might’ve been leaked on Tuesday, which shows that they are winning it all.
Oregon Wins The National Championship In NCAA 2025
The NCAA 25 football video game comes out this month, and a trailer was released on Tuesday that talks about how you can play in the new 12-team college football playoff. It showed a scene of one playing out and the Ducks winning against Ohio State.
Ironically, they have the Ducks playing the Buckeyes in the title game because the first-ever four-team college football playoff in 2014-2015 was Ohio State beating Oregon 42-20, and now, this time, in the first-ever 12-team playoff, Oregon beats Ohio State 42-20.
There is a chance Oregon could meet Ohio State in the title. Still, they do play each other this season since the Ducks are now part of the Big Ten and will probably have to play each other again in the Big Ten title game, so there could be three matchups against the school within three months.
Oregon fans took to social media to react to their team winning the NCAA 24 video game title. Here are some of their reactions.
I can die happy knowing Oregon won the first ever simulated college football playoffs. I don’t even need the season anymore. https://t.co/rWO4ChIQOF
