Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been the team owner since 1995, with the fourth-most wins in the NFL with 258. The team has won 10 division titles, made the postseason 18 times, appeared in two Super Bowls, and won a Super Bowl under Irsay, making him one of the best owners in NFL history. However, tragic news came out recently of the owner having a horrible incident that put his life in danger.

Indianapolis Colts Owner In Horrible Condition
According to the report by TMZ, Irsay was found lying in his bed unresponsive, cold to the touch and gasping for air during a suspected overdose in December according to police reports. Carmel Police Department documents show that cops were dispatched to Irsay’s Carmel residence on December 8 at around 4:30 AM, after someone said that they had found the Colts owner unconscious on a bathroom floor with a blue skin tone.
When the police first arrived, they reported that the owner had been moved to his bed, where he struggled to breathe and had a weak pulse. The police attempted to wake him up with a sternum rub but ended up being unsuccessful in their attempt. However, after administrating a dosage of Narcan, he began to slightly respond. Paramedics eventually took over and transported him to a nearby hospital, where doctors attempted to save his life. He is now alive and well after the scary incident, and he and his family are asking for privacy on this matter.

The owner has had issues with addiction to alcohol and pain pills throughout his life, which required at least 15 trips to rehab according to the report. He also suffered from a previous overdose while he was as he claims “trying to detox myself.” This news sent shockwaves and fear throughout the NFL world as Irsay has been a beloved owner amongst fans.
