The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly still in the trade market days after pulling off a trade with the Tennessee Titans. The Eagles added All-Pro safety Kevin Byard on Monday. Byard helps to fill one of the biggest holes on the Eagles roster in the secondary.
The Eagles’ offense was helped last week when they signed veteran wide receiver Julio Jones. However, the Eagles aren’t done adding to a roster they hope can win the Super Bowl in February.
The Philadelphia Eagles want more
According to Dianna Russini with The Athletic, Eagles general manager, Howie Roseman is calling teams around the NFL looking for another trade before the deadline. Russini made the comments during an appearance on the Ryen Russillo Podcast:
“I’ve talked to tons of teams across the league, and it’s like ‘Howie’s calling. of course, Howie’s calling.’ Howie’s not done, by the way,” Russini said.
Russini thinks the Eagles could add to either side of the ball.
“You look at Philly right now, and obviously the ‘Tush Push’ is the story,” Russini said. “Maybe they want to look at the offensive line for some insurance there–knowing they can get banged up there. Maybe a linebacker that can cover. They can certainly use one in Philadelphia.”
The Eagles are 6-1 heading into Week 8, fresh off a convincing 31-17 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football. The Eagles are certainly a team to buy before the deadline.
Can they execute one more trade?

Perhaps Howie could talk with that buffoon Jones in Dallas and tell him we’d like to have Micah Parsons.
