10. Chicago Bears

The Bears’ offseason started by hiring the hottest young coordinator in the NFL, Ben Johnson, as their next head coach. They then proceeded to completely rebuild their offensive line by adding Drew Dalman, Joe Thuney, and Jonah Jackson. Caleb Williams will have a lot more to work with in 2025.
9. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers would be higher on this list if they had managed to add a big name wide receiver, which they still might do. The addition of Najee Harris stabilizes their rushing attack, while bringing in Mekhi Becton helps to bolster their already strong offensive line.
8. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle is a strong contender for the team that has had the best offseason thus far. Sam Darnold is a better and younger QB option than Geno Smith, while swapping out DK Metcalf for Cooper Kupp should not be a downgrade. The Seahawks are in a good position to return to the playoffs after back-to-back seasons on the outside.
7. Washington Commanders

The Commanders were quick to make moves once the offseason began, trading for Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil. They also bolstered their defense by signing players like DT Javon Kinlaw and CB Jonathan Jones. Jayden Daniels and company should remain one of the NFC’s better teams in 2025.
6. Detroit Lions

Although they still have the best roster in the NFC North, the Lions are virtually guaranteed to see some degree of regression in the upcoming season. They lost both of their coordinators and failed to make any noteworthy signings in free agency. They should have done more to rebuild their defense after surrendering 45 points to the Commanders in their shocking Divisional Round playoff exit.
5. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams’ offseason moves tell us that they are committed to winning now. L.A. re-signed QB Matthew Stafford and brought in veteran star receiver Davante Adams to take the place of Cooper Kupp—an upgrade in most people’s eyes. The uncertainty surrounding the future of the 49ers makes the Rams an early favorite to win the NFC West. McVay and Stafford are in a favorable spot to make another deep playoff run.
4. Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore’s offseason has been quiet; although, they did manage to add DeAndre Hopkins to help strengthen their receiving corps. Nevertheless, the Ravens are a team with very few holes, making it somewhat preferable for them not to make any significant changes.
3. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs will remain relevant for as long as they have Patrick Mahomes under center. With that being said, the rest of their roster has gotten older in most areas. They also did not make any significant acquisitions in the offseason. Kansas City will remain a contender in 2025 but they are certainly in a very vulnerable position should the Chargers or Broncos continue to improve.
2. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles still have arguably the most complete roster in the NFL, even though they suffered serious losses in this free agency cycle. Big name players like Milton Williams, Josh Sweat, Darius Slay, and more have all found new homes, leaving several question marks on a defense that was one of the league’s best in 2024. The subtractions end up costing Philly the top spot in this ranking.
1. Buffalo Bills

The addition of Joey Bosa has gone under the radar as one of the best signings in the offseason. The margin between the Bills and the Chiefs was razor thin last season, making any move of significance a potential difference maker in the AFC race. Securing Josh Allen’s long-term future with the team was also of the utmost importance.
