The NFL’s greatest quarterback is going to treat fans this season, as Tom Brady is set to begin his broadcasting career this year. If the most recent interview between himself and media legend Stephen A. Smith tell us anything, it is that FOX will be in great hands with Brady at the helm.

Tom Brady Takes Shot At Quarterback In Recent Interview

    New York Giants Daniel Jones
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (8) is shown at MetLife Stadium after the game, Thursday, August 8 2024, in East Rutherford.

Brady recently sat down with Smith to mainly talk about his own mindset heading into this season as he is set to start a whole new career and journey as a broadcaster. The all time quarterback revealed that while it is easy from his vantage point to be highly critical when assessing players, especially at his own position, he will try to refrain from being “so critical”.

As Brady tried to explain his logic behind why this is his mindset heading into the year, he took a  random shot at the New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones:

“I don’t want to always necessarily say it in that way. OK, If I was doing it myself, and let’s say I threw a really bad interception, I would walk to the sidelines and I would say, ‘You are the worst quarterback in the world. How could you possibly make that throw? That was terrible,'” Brady said. “I don’t want to be so critical. In some ways, I don’t necessarily know what the problem was on that play. Let’s say, Daniel Jones throws an interception.”

The crowd, in comedic fashion, immediately booed Brady when he brought up Jones.

“I wasn’t even being critical of Daniel Jones,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion replied. “Maybe I was a little bit.”

Daniel could easily be wondering what he must have done wrong to deserve this shot from Brady. He may have just said that because Smith is a big New York sports fan himself, but fans think that the legend is still a bit salty from the two Super Bowl losses against the Giants.

Fans were quick to social media to have a laugh at what Brady said, and many fans feel that Brady is still salty from the worst losses of his career that came at the hands of the Giants.

“It’s funny because Tom had this exact same holier than thou mentality about Eli Manning and it got him beat TWICE when it counted most,” one fan tweeted.

“Played out phrase but the New York Giants quite literally live rent-free in this man’s head for LIFE,” another fan tweeted.

“Eli Manning literally destroyed this man. No matter how many Super Bowls he’s won, it just doesn’t matter,” another tweet read.

“Fortunately the Giants put the entire league on their back and prevented the Patriots and Tom from having a perfect season. You’re welcome, league. 18-1 will live on forever,” another fan tweeted.

This also made fans keep the excitement for Brady entering his new career, and from all the sound bites we have been getting, it seems that Brady will be wildly entertaining in this new role.

He will join Kevin Burkhardt for FOX, and will likely be an awesome new part of the season.
