Bridgewater’s Health Essential For Miami

There are three Dolphins players who cannot get hurt, and of the three Teddy Bridgewater may be the most important of Miami’s backups. Signing this offseason as an insurance policy in case Tua Tagovailoa struggles or gets hurt, Bridgewater must stay healthy himself. His experience starting with three different teams is too valuable to lose. Tua has had injury issues his first two seasons so any games Bridgewater misses could prove costly.
Howard, Miami’s Best Player, Must Not Get Hurt In Already Thin Secondary

Bridgewater may be Miami’s best backup but the teams best player is Xavien Howard. Howard a lock down, ball hawk of a corner, forms one with the leagues best tandems with Byron Jones. Jones starts training camp on the PUP list, so keeping Howard healthy is even more important. Miami faces a number of teams, the Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals who all have excellent receiving corps. Nik Needham is a solid backup for the Dolphins, but facing any of those teams without their starters makes life a whole lot more difficult.

Armstead’s Health Essential To Protect Tua And For McDaniel’s Offense To Work
Terron Armstead was Miami’s biggest offseason signing. As mentioned before the Dolphins offensive line was rated the worst in the league last year. Armstead and Connor Williams were both signed to help protect Tua, who might not have been sacked often, but he did face plenty of pressure. A strong line is needed in Head Coach Mike McDaniel’s offense, which is based on running to set up the pass. Armstead should be ready for training after recovering from a knee injury. He suffered the injury at the end of last season for the New Orleans Saints. Armstead is one of the NFL’s top tackles, a three time Pro Bowler, and losing a quality tackle who could do so much to improve Miami’s line would be devastating.
