Per multiple reports, a third suspect has been charged on multiple alleged counts in connection to February’s Kansas City Chiefs parade shooting, where dozens of people were injured, and victim Lisa Lopez-Galvan died.
A third suspect has been charged with murder
According to Jim Salter with the Associated Press, another Kansas City resident was charged with murder and three other counts in connection to the shooting:
“Terry Young, 20, of Kansas City, Missouri, was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action. He is jailed on $1 million bond and doesn’t yet have an attorney….
Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney Jean Peters Baker said the investigation has reached an important milestone.
“Everyone we’ve identified who discharged a firearm in response to the verbal altercation detailed here has been taken into custody,” she said in a statement.”

Per GH records, two other suspects have been charged for their alleged role in the shooting:
Police have stated that a dispute among several people is what led to the shooting, even with 800 police officers patrolling the area. The two people who are being faced with charges of second-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon are Dominic Miller and Lyndell Mays.
According to the report, Mays was in a “verbal argument” at the parade with someone he did not know, which escalated to Mays pulling out his handgun with others immediately pulling out their firearms, including Miller.
The shooting was an unfortunate tragedy that should have been a celebration of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win.
